New edition of the SAE standard to FMEA

In January 2021, a new edition of the important SAE J1739 standard “Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Including Design FMEA, Supplemental FMEA-MSR, and Process FMEA” appeared.

It is worth paying attention to him. The standard answers to the question frequently asked during training: “Who is the owner of DFMEA / PFMEA?”. It also includes a small example of the recently increasingly important FMEA variety: software FMEA. The “thread” of modifying the table with AP values is also interesting.
