If you are looking for best practices for working with FMEA analysis, we recommend Tomasz Greber’s publication “FMEA Analysis. A Compendium of Practical Knowledge”.
This book is a collection of more than 20 years of experience and practice in various industries working with analysis of types and effects of defects. It contains both basic information (such as about DFMEA or PFMEA analysis) and important details about FMEA analysis.
At the end of 2022, an updated edition of the publication was released that incorporates the AIAG & VDA approach as well as approaches to FMEA from outside the automotive industry.
The first edition of the 2017 publication is still available on the FMEA Center in e-book form.
